Kashidakari, started as a boutique run from home in a garage, specialising in Indian Attire for women, 30 years ago. changing times & shopping patterns amongst women helped us grow this small and successful retail store into an online business venture.

Our supremely maintained quality & service standards made it easy for to penetrate the market for contemporary wear. With skepticism, we moved forward into to unknown waters of of the vast sea called internet or as a layman would call it online buying and selling.

We wanted to make Indian attire prevalent amongst us, specifically for young girls and women, an age group where it’s losing its sheen to Western wears and western brands. Seeing an indian girl carry an Indian Ensemble has been the most breathtaking view for one and all. My designs are traditional yet are focussed on the modern woman of India whether a working lady or a stay-at-home woman, the lady of the house. I have grown up admiring and imbibing the ways of beautiful yet comfortable styling and blending of palettes. The world of shopping on social platforms and mobile-commerce fuelled our resolve at Kashidakari, further to take this dream ahead.
